i have looked in this quite extensively over the years. it is doable but you need to bring multiple units over in the container to make it "economical" one container is going to run from $2000-$5000 last time i checked. if you put all the same kind of roof in the container you could probably bring quite a few. if they were different models and didn't stack well then maybe three or so. if you ever decide to get serious about this let me know as i would be interested. jeff at vanagonparts.com talked about bringing a container load in from germany but nothing became of it as far as i know. he had a contact with one of the shops that made tops.
