I'm an ex-commercial painter and can confirm from experience that the close
cell foam rollers he's talking about can produce a finish that is very close
to a good spray job -- and better than a bad spray job :-) So I think it's
possible to do a decent job on a van --- a heck of a lot of work
though.........
