First off: NOT MINE!

There is an ad that has been running in the classified section of AutoWeek for the past several weeks. It is for a 1987 Porsche-powered (3.2 liter Carrera engine) Syncro. There is a picture of a nice looking maroon Syncro in the ad.

The ad reads:

1987 PORSCHE Vanagon Syncro AWD

36k Mi, 3.2 Carrera (20k mi) professionally installed. Specialty trans. Cross-drilled discs, 16" Fuchs whls, New Michelins, $22K/bo. Steve (401) 294-9660 daytime

From the picture, this appears to be a 7-passenger van. This is not a pop-top model.

I repeat, THIS IS NOT MY VANAGON. I know nothing more about it than is presented in the ad above. I do no know the seller. I have no financial interest in this Vanagon. Please contact the seller, not me.

Cheers, Bruce motorbruce motorbruce@hotmail.com
