Today went extremely well BTW!!!!!!!! We had 14 people there to help, including my big boys. My big boys were an emense help yesterday! They totally flushed and dismantled the cooling system, air conditioning, fuel lines, and brake cables on the blue Vanagon. Along with dismantling the shift stick out of Blue. Steve, my brother, was going to install the shift stick from Blue Goldie, but Christopher had beat him to it! Very Happy He loves to assemble stuff! Who knew they would both be so into it! I have to say Otmar is amazing with the boys! He is so patient, and totally explained everything about how to use each tool, and gave them a few pointers on how to dismantle stuff, and then let them go! I was watching Jeremy dismantle the emergency brake, and Otmar peered over my shoulder, and said, now let him figure it out! Laughing He did! Then he put it back together after dismantling the cable, so as not to lose any parts! They were both jumping to get to do each new task, and we had to make Jeremy and Christopher climb out from under Blue to get washed up for dinner. This was about an hour after everyone else had stopped, and were just chatting! They were both just amazing, and I have to say that I am sooooo proud of them! I am just stunned by the amount they got accomplished! Anyway, I bought steak, chicken, veggies, and salad greens from Costco, and my brother grilled them on the BBQ. YUMMMMMM!!!!!!! Soooo good!!!!! Brian showed up just in time for dinner, and will be back today to help out. This is his final drill before he retires! Congrats Brian!!!!!!!! Anyway, Otmar has the rough cuts drawn out. Phil and Allison got everything unhooked on Goldie, but we need to drop the engine before we can actually start cutting. I got some great pictures! Hopefully I will have time tonight to post them. Is there room on the Wetwesties site on Yahoo??? I am so stoked! Well, I better get out of here! I am late!
