dear list

well, i got the van at the end of december and it needed a bit of work before i had the nerve to drive out of the city (seattle) but we just got back form a few days on the coast - drove great - no problems and what fun to sleep in - i couldn't beleive how comfortable the westy bed is (swapped z- bed for westy to make room for cabinets i'm building) and the campsite was sure a lot cleaner with everything kept indoors and what a fun vehicle to drive on scenic 101.

i'm also glad we took a camping trip before building the cabinets - experience is such a good editor.

the sad news of course is the number of dead birds we found on the beaches and also the crazed lunatics driving up and down the beach through resting shorebird colonies in ocean shores -

this morning back in the city but eager to go again and soon.

i love our van. (by the way - a pop top would be nice, i see now - oh well - making do with what we've got

monte

84 gl - gas burning guilt ridden climate wrecking friend - i love it so
