Hi Folks,

Finally got my SubaruVanagon bled and on the road. WOW. An onramp upon which I used to struggle to maintain 35-40 MPH I just took at...gulp...Seventy. Unbelievable. A lot of trials and tribulations, one crushed finger, one burned up forearm, but all completely worth it.

A couple of things:

Turns out my temp gauge is bad...Does anybody have one to sell? Or should I be looking to see if it's a voltage issue on the cluster? It reads high when the engine is purring along at 82 degrees Celsius on my Rabbit VDO gauge.

One other little issue, my blinkers go very slowly or stick on, and don't work at all when the brake pedal's depressed. Does this sound common? I'm sure it's a bad ground or a crossed wire somewhere, but does anybody know of a starting point? I didn't do anything with the cluster while I was converting, so I'm thinking somewhere in the engine bay of course...

Thanks for all of the help, suggestions, and support...Again, it really was worth the time, trouble, energy, pain, and insomnia to get that Vanagon running like a wild animal out on the highway.
