I also make sure that when I drive during the day, I have only about a 1/4 of a tank of water, and
then I fill up at that night's camp-ground rather than lug water from one camp-ground to the next.




I also find that driving at 90 kph rather than 110/120 kph makes for the biggest decrease in fuel
consumption.


Why is no one talking about avoiding "jack-rabbit" starts???  :-)    M
