I am on her side. But only if they take it slow and stop at all the places to look at and the best restaurants to eat at. Sleep at the 24 hr garages or in hotel parking or at busy rest stops are fine. Hotel is better. Let them have a good time. And if it turns out the other way, let them have a bad time and learn how to deal with one. Don't worry too much. Here in the US it is like driving in town. There is a gas station every few miles with a shop and toilet and a hotel nearby.
