I have a combo if both also, new triple and standard allens on my van, keep both tools in van think what makes a diffrence is the washers, the triples never came with them when i bought a rebuild kit felt like this was odd.

most lean toward the new sytle triple heads, just make sure you check on them after driving some miles.
