many feel the general rules of Netiquette are that personal messages
should not be forwarded to lists as they are private messages not meant
for public consumption.

often times i feel that people that intentionally send private emails to
public lists have an axe to grind.  i think the only widely accepted
exception to this "rule" is posting email replies from companies as most
companies are going to join the list to offer their input.
