well let me just say that sometimes your sticking your hand into what
you think is a jar of honey and what you got instead is a honeybee
hive.
i think i've shook the last of the bees from my hands - for the record,
i do not condone or condemn legal or illegal drug use. it seems to me
that people are pretty good at arriving at their own conclusions
without me.
i am horrified by the prospect(first heard on NPR about two months ago)
of farming animals so that they might converted to biodiesel - nothing
could better express our culturally thoughtless use of energy, and
desperate attempts to keep supplies secure.
as far as my violation of "netiquette" in posting to the list emails
sent to me alone, though in repsonse to a public post of mine - i will
certainly follow the rules if i want to play the game, although i do
believe that this rule is very different from what we expect of each
other in a forum with more accountability. for example, if i were to
pull you aside in a group discussion to lambast your religion, or
lifestyle, or call you names, no matter how frivilous, i dont think
that i'd have the right to expect you to keep that a secret from the
rest of the group, or anyone else.
one way of considering the notion of free will is that the universe
prevents no one from making an ass of him or her self. and the
repercussions of that fall freely as rain.
and oh brother, i've probably already put my foot right back in my mouth
