Jim,

The door handle is held in by one Phillips head screw. It's hidden on the edge of the door by the weather stripping. It is easy to locate by looking for the notch on the door's metal edge. Just pull the door weather strip away slightly. Remove the screw. You should then be able to slide the whole door handle forward slightly and out. The front end of the handle is just held by an extended tang off the handle. Installation is the reverse. Good time to change door handle gaskets.

Depending on where the dent is, you may be able to simply crank the window all the way up and work from the backside of the door. I assume you know how to take off the inner door panel and door handle.
