Hi all Well ive Finally given up as of today. I Adjusted the valves on the 85 westi and it over charged the valves and they where floating again so i adjusted them hot to .002 clearance. plenty of power a little valve chatter but the good ol oil light came back to haunt me after the whole Lucas oil Honey stuff i put in for fun. So It looks as if i need to just plain get off my butt and put in the motor that i fully rebuilt that is just siting on the engine stand looking at me. I did find a perfect subaru donor but ive got this motor that just requires a bit of time to install and its done. So I guess i will just start tear down tonight and should have it ready to drop in by the end of the week.

on a side note did anyone else find that most of the coolant gaskets and intake seals for the throttle body are now NLA. not IN LA but NLA. So now i need to resort to cutting my own. does anyone know the best gasket material for this job. I used one type that seems to seep that was suppose to work. now i found a impregnated style of gasket material that im going to try next.

So If anyone is bored in SE Michigan and want to hang out and swap a motor let me know. I can always use a spare hand and someone to harrass as i do it myself. c-ya Jonce
