hi volks

another interior question - dont quite understand the archives so if
this is a regular question that has been answered a gazillion times
maybe just point me in the right direction -

my 84 gl window van has overhead ac unit, molded plastic, super ugle
and in the effort to make my van more workable (livable) i'd like oit
to be gone (i hit my head on it regularly) plus i'm mostly in the
pacific NW so not much call for ac.

is removal wrong? super hard? just plain dumb??
