The latest:
I got a random call from UPS Customer Satisfaction last night.
"How is your UPS account working out? Are you happy with the service
provided thus far?"
I understood immediately that this poor girl was probably a third party
quality control phone jockey, so with all the strength I could muster, I
kept myself under control and told her the whole sordid story in intricate
detail and measured tones.
"Wow. This is a recorded line, mind if I pull the call and give it to my
boss? I've never had a call like this"
So, my story is getting out. Perhaps there will be a revolution of some
kind. I'll keep you posted.
In other news, my Vanagon still looks dumb with one steel wheel and three
alloys. I keep it parked across the street from my house so I can look at
the nice side.
