California Campers should have one for rent. They are in the San Francisco area. http://www.californiacampers.com/ They have the proper insurance (rental) and have several vans to choose from. I visited them about eight years ago and at that time this had over 20 campers for rent. Hi list, my parents are coming over from germany to the states this summer and need a van to travel around. However we will use our Westy in that time too so we would need to rent a second van. I was therefore wondering if someone would like to rent out a Westy or a weekender or at least a van with a folding bed....... Would be from San Francisco, and travelling would only be to the Californian National Parks. We are still in the planning stage, so we dont know exact times yet. It would be either for 5 days (Sequoia only) or for three weeks (Sequoia + Yosemite + Big Sur) , starting July 24. The van would need to be adequately insured, or we have to figure out where to buy additional coverage. My parents had several Volkswagen Campers themselves and have driven stickshifts all their lives, so it will be handled with care. They are, however, no hobby mechanics so it should be relatively dependable. If someone is interested please pmail me. Thank you very very much. Florian |
