Hey John:
        I just replaced that seal on my slider, and very easy. I got the part
from my local VW dealer for under $5.00. I think it is part number 211
843 731. To remove the handle you remove the phillips head screw
directly opposite the handle on the inside of the door and pull the
handle off. Have fun, Neal
