There was a white syncro westy in LV for sale in the $30K range with an Audi 5cyl Turbo engine.. I managed to capture the images before it was pulled/sold.. also theres a fella on the list who has a friend with a 5cyl turbo conversion (Audifans calls it a "SWAP" ) whom I chatted with briefly and saved a few images.. he made his own adapter so it would fit below the decklid (slightly more leaned over)

and sitting in my driveway are 2 87 Audi 5000 Turbo quattro sedans. 1 I drive as my 2nd car. (GREAT CAR) other acquired for parts and the future swap donor for a syncro camper conversion..

Joe, if you would like to build one for yourself I have an 87 Westy Syncro and a 90 Audi 200 Quattro sitting in the driveway that you are welcome to. You will have to do the conversion yourself though as the Westy Syncro would drop in value to $6,000.00 once the engine is swapped :-) and I want more then that for it.
