Well, it has been several years since I was on this list and I figured it was time that I spoke with "the experts".

I have an 85 GL 1.9, manual - it runs strong but it is getting to where she needs some attention. I have an opportunity to get an 86 2.1, manual for a great price. It has been in an accident but runs good. My thought is to get it for parts for the 85. I am curious to hear from you folks as to if this is feasible or not. My thought is that most of the mechanical and body parts should be interchangeable but with the year and motor difference I am not sure. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff
