I'm going to guess it's the throttle body position switch. I've been fighting mine for a couple weeks. If it is adjusted too far one way it will not idle when cold. When it is too far the other way, it dies when you barely press the accelerator pedal. Does anyone have any hints for adjusting it properly? I followed the Bentley, but It's just not staying there. I think the cam may be worn becasue it is very touchy to adjust. I assume the cam is replaceable without having to buy the entire switch assembly.

Hi guys,

My car won't idle when cold, almost at all. But if I press the gas and

=

keep it running about 2000 rpm for about a half minute, it will idle.

=

And as it gets warmer, it idles a little higher, but not higher than =

900. =20
