Hi guys,
On the top of my kitchen unit I noticed some dark blemishes.  I tried to wipe it off and wash it off and used some thinner too but it does not budge.  
I think, it is from having an item stored on the top and it kept on rubbing it.  
How can the formica be rejuvenated?  I know it is thick enough, but would it not loose its lustre if I start sanding it before a buff job?  
Is there one who would know this?
