Zoltan,

Try using a pencil eraser and if that doesn't work, some kitchen cleanser like comet and a wet kitchen sponge (not a rough surfaced one). If your formica is glossy, you may or may not be able to get back your original shine. You could also try some plastic polish or any kind of polishing compound, just try to get a polisher whose roughness most closely matches the finish of the formica. Obviously it would be wise to try it on the bottom first.
