We changed my shocks about a year ago and what a difference it made, even with passenger tires (please no flaming, I bought them when I was an ignoramus and let the tire idiots put on what they thought was best)

In any case, yes, you WILL notice the difference- with the right shock. I got mine from some VW guys in Ft Laud FL...The same day it was pitching all over the place on the road...my brother was driving it and cussing the daylights out of me...once changed...wow, it handled so much better...now once these crappy passenger tires wear out a little more I will buy some real tires and know what its really supposed to feel like driving one of these stately beasts...
