Neil,

Recently I upgraded all my shocks to the KYB Gas Adjustable from the old stock units, wow what a difference. In high winds the van barley moves. It stays on the road in a very stable fashion. The big hits the shocks actually absorb when they hit major bad patches in roadwork is great, it even works well in semi-off road conditions such as country gravel unpaved roads.

Overall it performs better in heavy hard hitting roads, it's a bit stiff riding but it's a big upgrade from stock. If your looking for something really cush in ride these shocks are not it, they are brand new and from my experience they ride somewhat stiff but I think that for heavy winds they would be a good choice.
