Conspiracy in favor of big money interests and political hacks is always present.

How about the time (early 1900's) GM succeeded in killing the electric buses/trollies in favor of the fuel busses GM built. Some say it was the changing times, but not so - it was a deliberate effort over a period of years.

Tue Tucker was wiped out by money interest, same way.

It goes on and on.
