Someone posted a magazine article not too long ago that was review of the Vgon Westy and its engine blew out and was replaced at low mileage. Maybe it's the same van (!). I thought the article was interesting for that fact- never seen a vehicle get what was essentially a positive review despite the rather major negative of having blown a motor right in the middle of the 'test'. Actually I've read about a number of WBXers that were replaced under warranty. Doesn't strike me as being that unusual. Couldn't it have blown up at 100,000 miles and been replaced with a working used engine that already had mileage on it?
