Hello, anyone ever do this? Is it really ever necessary? There are several bushings, bearings and seals inside the housing. The clutch lever where the release bearing resides, and the input shaft seal. How on earth does that shaft get removed? It looks like it is impossible(once again).I see a 10mm bolt near the clutch lever spline. Do the bushings/bearings/clutch lever , all come out/in, at one time? Should I leave well enough, alone?
How do the bearings come out? Is it like the starter bushing? With the use of a tap? It looks alot larger than a starter bushing. Is this a difficult operation? Where can I get the new parts? Do the vanagon venders have them? Thanks, Roger
