Tires seem to have a bigger effect than shocks as far as crosswind stability and "the bus dance". If yours is bad, adjust your side mirror to see the rear tire. Then zig zag a little while driving and glance in the mirror and watch how much your sidewalls flex. Better tires don't do that nearly as much. I will stop this response right there to avoid starting a dreaded "tire thread". I have driven Bilsteins, KYBS, Boges, and Monroes. I think the Boges ride the best, but Bilsteins handle better.
