Thank you all for your replies. I personally don't know that I could take it
if I were driving a Vanagon (or any "classic" VW) that had square or
rectangular headlights. I know there are those out there who like the
rectangulars on the Vanagon - and more power to you - I just prefer the
round.

It appears that I have finalized the bargaining to acquire the 86'. It was a
bit of a chore since I am buying it from my Ex (actually her dad has the van
but she gets the cash). So I got her to agree to $500 - $250 in cash and I
pay her portion of the day care bill for our son. Sweet deal as far as I am
concerned - especially since the Van runs and seems to be in good order with
the exception of a glancing rear ender.

Now the fun part begins as a self proclaimed "mechanical moron" attempts to
piece the two buses together. Don't worry I'll have help. Wish me luck.
