Hell for stout, and does not mount on the tow loops as others do, but to the frame channels instead. It is a receiver type hitch which gives it greater versatility and is secured to the channels by three heavy bolts on each side. You will have little trouble ever from this hitch and a great deal of peace of mind when traveling with a trailer hooked to it.

I have two 88 GL's - one is my daily driver, and the other is my travel vehicle. I put the first hitch on my daily driver. I am so pleased with that first hitch that I am going get a second hitch from Dennis and install it on my other 88 GL travel vehicle as well.
