Someone asked for pictures of the screens I made:

You can see the cut corners (right) to fit into the curves of the window and the aluminum strips pop- riveted to the top edge to hold the window in place. The bottom fits into the window groove and the strips allow the glass and the frame to hold the screen in.

These are very sturdy. I made them over 15 years ago.
