Interesting issue. Seems to me that you have nailed the correct original factory color (yellow) for the 1.9 and 2.1. The larger question, from my view (the guy with the green injectors), might be that if yellow is the correct color what the heck am I doing with green colored injectors? Furthermore, why is that the green colored injectors seem to work just as well as the yellow, at least from my vanagons point of view? "Fast German Auto" (in L.A.), I believe, normally caters to faster German autos than VW vanagons. Maybe I was sent Porche injectors by mistake, which may help explain why my vanagon sometimes seems to purr like a tiger. Next week I'll phone "Fast German Auto" for a possible explanation.
