Assuming you've got a good spark and timing is correct, I would take out plugs, and crank it over to get some oil on cylinder walls. Might be a little "dry" after sitting for winter. I've only ever done this on carb aspirated engines, so not sure about FI engines though I imagine techniqe is ok. Neil.
