Since we spend most of our time driving in the right or middle lane, the left side sag actually makes the van level while traveling. Sideway pulls are usually due to front/rear miss alignment or a caster problem in the front. If the front radius rod bushings have not been recently replaced, that is most likely the problem. 1.5 inches of sag is a bit excessive though. Sure there is not a broken spring? I would not try to shim up the left rear spring only as that will mess up weight distribution on that tire and the right front. Another common topic I'm sure. I've noted that my left side (where all the weight is?) is about 1.5 inches lower front and rear then my starboard side. Will replacement springs/shocks fix this condition or will it just return due to the weight? After new rims and tires, balancing, rebalancing and a alignment that was double checked we are still trying to figure out why I pull to the left. The alignment guys say that sag most likely has something to do with it. Anyone want to "weight in" (pun was intended) on this topic! Shawn Ohio |
