I bet you saw Ross, the guy who lives down the street from me (ohio ave, south of wilshire near sepulveda). Older german fellow, also has a nice red karmann ghia. That's a really nice sycro adventurewagen he has. I think he posted a picture of it on the Adventurewagen group site at yahoo groups. I don't know how actively he monitors the list.
