we can't seem to get enough of these threads can we?
so, i thought i would throw this out there.  i have had the erratic idle
syndrome for years now on my syncro.  i have replced the idle contol unit,
stabilizer, and i have tinkered with all grounds and throttle switch,
nothing has worked.  when my idle starts to behave badly, i crank my
steering wheel all the way in direction (while at a stop of course)  and
that fixes the idle until the steering wheel is back to center.  is it
possible that the power steering sensor is faulty?  if so, wouldn't i notice
poor power steering overall.  i realize the power steering sensor has
something to do with all of this, but to what capacity.
i just deal with idle for now but it can get frustrating.
