My '85 Westy doesn't lean to the left but, as seems to be the case with '85s, it's higher in the front. I'm considering spacers under both rear springs to level it.

Have you thought about swapping your springs from left to right just to see if there's a difference? Who knows ... maybe in time it will level out that way and you'll end up with a unique lowering job. LOL
