Just a guess. The switch for the front is probably bad and you have to
push hard to get much pressure in the rear since the rear self adjusters
are not working well. Try swapping switches or just test them by
unplugging the wires from one switch at a time and see which is actually
making the lights come on. If not both, replace the one that doesn't
trigger the lights.
