I was having a problem with a customer's city water hook up today and I
wanted to ask some advice.  I always thought this connection was just a
connector to hook at hose up to the side of the van.  However there is a
check valve/ball inside the hook up.  When I hook normal water pressure up
to it the ball moves and shuts off the water coming into the van.  Is this
supposed to happen?  What is up with this check valve?  Can I just get rid
of it?  Any advice would be welcomed.
