A hotly debated topic to be sure, on every automotive forum on the net. I can't say personally whether it's true, but I DO know that when you pay a couple nimrods to detail your car, what they mostly do is spray PINTS of that crap all over everything (including the leather steering wheel!) and some of it ends up leaking through and dripping down the INSIDE of the speedo and tach windows, redering them opaque two days later when it finally dries, requiring complete disassembly of the dash cluster for cleaning to make the gauges visible again. Ask me how I know...

If you decide to use it, difinitely WIPE on the dash cluster, don't spray.
