I know of no one that is in the business of building engines, that has not had a engine come back sooner or later, me included. The first thing that you did wrong was to try to pull the engine through after it had seized, (pulling the van, and popping the clutch, that just said more $$$$)all this does is to cost more on the repairs. Did you check the valves to see if it had one of them in the cylinder,If a piston disintegrated stopping the engine from turning, the rod cap could be aganst the case, if forced through it could crack the case. If you can't turn the engine by hand, don't turn it. The best bet is to pull the engine and tear it down, to find the problem. Phil
