I'd suggest Penetrol. I used it a year ago on the fiberglass top and it still has not oxidized, which is a record for me. It should be used on any surface to brighten, deoxidize and sustain shine, but whatever condition the paint is in when you apply it, such as dirty, you'll fasten that to the paint. So clean the surface real well before applying. It's a winner. Easy to use too. Not so much "buffing" as with waxes and pastes.
