Subject:      Side Window Glass Interchangeable?

Does anyone know if the glass pieces or the sliding windows themselves are interchangeable from driver to passenger side on an 87' model.  Disreguarding the fact that swapping the whole window frame would cause the window to open in a different direction.

The fixed window was broken during shipment and I was wondering if I could just pull apart the opposite side window and send a piece of replacement glass.

I've already started a claims process (what a pain).  Despite the fact that it had "fragile" and "do not lay flat" on the package, there are footprints where it looks like somebody had been standing on it.
