Has anyone out there in Vanagonland ever seen a late model, full-length A/C system installed in a Double Cab?

I have 3 Tristars arriving this week from Germany and I'm sure at least one of them will be have air conditioning added, so I'm looking at alternatives. I have several sets of full-length A/C units laying about and I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be fairly simple to install one in a Doka. Mounting should be fairly straightfoward and shortening the center channel is not a big deal either.

The only troublesome bits I can come up with are building some sort of cover for the hoses and fabricating a clean method of covering the edges on the rear housing where the side panels butt up to the housing.

Ideas?

Comments?

Cheers,

Jeff www.vanagonparts.com www.autostadtwest.com
