I used to work as a musical instrument repairman. (mainly brass inst.) Saw some pretty crazy things (like end result of a car driving over a trumpet.... twice...) during that time, and heard some pretty imaginative fibs from kids about how their horns got "cranged".

Can only imagine what happens in other repair businesses!
