When you put them on, here is how it is done. Use a pencil to locate where you want them by putting stratagic marks on the decal and roof. Use masking tape to hold the complete decal while you step back and eyeball it.The decal is sandwiched between two layers of paper. Of course clean the area that the decal will be attached, real good. Pull off the layer of paper that has the sticky on it. Use a spray windex bottle to spray the roof area with water laced with 2 drops of ivory dishwashing soap/12 oz.This will allow the decal to be fine tuned, while in direct contact with the roof. The soap breaks the surface tension of the water.Next. When the decal is positioned just right, use a credit card or other squigie to squish the water out from under the decal, and to press it firmly to the roof. Start slowly and try to push out any bubbles first, before pressing hard on the decal. While wet, you can even pull the decal completely off and begin again if needed.Remember that the top is textured ,and a sponge will be good for rubbing on this decal/top paper. Now, let it set for a few hours and dry completely so the glue can dry good. When dry ,carefully peal off the top layer of paper and your done.Dont forget to use a pencil erasure to remove any pencil markes. |
