Sorry, Ray, but I don't have an extra switch.
I bent the metal tangs at the bottom of the switch releasing the
insulator board that the brass contacts are mounted to. If you do this
... don't let the spring go flying. Note the orientation and order in
which things come out.
The temperature control potentiometer is actually a separate part of
that switch. You'd only be opening the part that selects speed.
It seems to me that one could accomplish the same thing with the later
style "separate" switch and temperature control just by wiring them up
correctly (you'd have to make some tests for compatibility). Or ... use
the old one only for temperature control (the pot) and put a 2nd
selector switch alongside with the new switch wired to the old one in
such a way that the new one takes over the make/break functions.
Sometimes we just have to do what we have to do.
