Sent you the last reply before seeing this. I know from previous dismantling exercise that my early 87 was taller than the Carats. I am not so sure about the 87 Wolfsburg Editions. I looked at my 88 and it looks just as low as the Carat it was parked next to. However, I do not feel comfortable saying they are equal in height w/o looking at them side by side out of the vehicles.
