Hello all,
Just picked up an 87 Westy and I'm trying to sort out some electrical gremlins. My turn signals work, but the left flashes rapidly. I checked all the conectors/bulbs and replaced one of the front lamp holders and terminals which were badly corroded. This solved one of my fronts not flashing but still have the left fast blink. To make matters worse, when the headlight switch is on, the right will not blink at all, the indicator light just stays on solid. When the right blinks, the left front also blinks but very faintly. Don't know if its related, but my temp gage does not work, although it just quit working. The digital clock does not work and the dash lights do not work for the speedo and tach yet work for the LED lights, the clock, and the heater controls. I have a Bentley manual and I'm trying to sort it all out but any suggestions as to what to check would be appreciated.
