Think seriously if a lawyer is really the way to go. Someone with no ID, license, etc. many also have no job and no money. A settlement is only woprthwhile if there is a chance you can collect. I'm not sure how it all works where you are from but I'd hate to see you out all this cash wit a settlement yuou can never collect plus a big legal bill you can bet the lawyer will collect on.
